Jacobs Estate

  • Chosen for an E3 2019 gameplay trailer.

  • Focused tested as a lot of people's favorite maps with the best visuals.

  • I was the map lead, which is basically a pod leader responsible for all final decisions. 

  • Responsible for all the paper design documentation for the level.

  • Responsible for all paper design for two of the three missions.

  • Responsible for all level design and combat for the map.

  • Took two of the three missions to about seventy-five percent completion.

  • Responsible for a large portion of the level art work for the map.

  • Responsible for the optimization pass, taking performance captures, and making informed decisions about what to optimize.

  • The map takes place in and around an old mansion that used to be owned by the Jacobs family.

  • The player must fight through bandit infested swamps to meet with Aurelia, the old estate's current owner.

  • Explore the secrets of the mansion, but be wary of the bandits that inhabit the old house. 

I did all the level art work in the images below. Level art is about assembling assets created by content artists in a visually appealing way.
